Chicago Jazz Magazine Review
07/28/06

"Quartet" is the opening salvo from Nick Fryer and Doug Stone, and if Chicago's jazz scene is lucky, it won't be their last. This one comes highly recommended." This is just a brief excerpt from the review we received in the Chicago Jazz Magazine. For the rest of the review you can go to www.chicagojazz.com/cdreviews.htm

1st Annual Wheaton Jazz Festival!
03/12/06

Lookout for the Wheaton Jazz Festival! Thanks to John from the Wheaton Grand Theatre and Dave Miller for the gig. The Nick Fryer/Doug Stone duo performed on a moments notice and played a short set to open up the festival. It was a great opportunity to play our music as well as some standards in a duo situation. The set ended with Dave Miller joining us on "Mental Mutilation" a composition by Doug Stone. A picture of the duo performing at the festival can be found at www.libertysuburban.com/snapshots

No More Mercury Theatre!
